This time last year, if you had told Jess Hiles that she would be part of the 'Learning Disability and Autism Leader's List 2018' she may not have believed you. Now, after being named the winner of the ‘Changing Communities’ category, Jess is delighted to be part of the judging panel for the ‘Learning Disability and Autism Leader’s List 2019'.
Jess, who is supported by MacIntyre, alongside her mother Jo are advocates of individuality; promoting the message "it's okay to be different" through their series of novels 'Jess The Goth Fairy'. The latest instalment in the series 'Jess Guides The Way' is due to be published in September.
Sharing her thoughts about judging with Dimensions, Jess said:
“Hello my name is Jess and I am excited about being a judge. I love to help people and want everyone to have a good life."
She added:
"Winning the award made me more confident and want to help more people. The Leaders’ List lets people know how important is for everyone to have a life they want. I am looking forward to reading the stories this year of what people have done.”
