It's the second day of National Safeguarding Adults Week and today we are discussing the definition of forced marriage, why forced marriage may happen and the distinction between an arranged and forced marriage.
We are also sharing a case study from MacIntyre’s No Limits, which exemplifies how we have trained Macintyre staff to identify signs of a forced marriage and how we acted upon these findings, to ensure that people we support remain safe.
