We're delighted to share that two MacIntyre colleagues have been shortlisted in the Training and Breaking Down Barriers categories by the National Learning Disability and Autism Awards, recognising their contribution to the sector.
The National Learning Disabilities and Autism Awards celebrate individuals or organisations who excel in providing support and quality care for people with learning disabilities.
Lynn Kennedy, Workforce Development Manager at MacIntyre, has been shortlisted for the Trainer Award. This award is a celebration of the importance of trainers in ensuring that staff are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to provide good support.
Sarah Swindells, Health, Dementia and Wellbeing Manager at MacIntyre, has been shortlisted for the Breaking Down Barriers Award. This award will celebrate an individual or organisation who have worked to make sure people supported get clear information and are able to contribute their views and experiences.
The winners will be announced at the official awards ceremony on Friday 29 October.
Good luck to both Lynn and Sarah!
