To mark National Apple Day people we support, staff, family and friends came together to hold the MacIntyre Orchard Day in Warrington.
Held at the New Routes Gardens in Victoria Park, the event consisted of craft stalls, workshops and tasting mulled wine in the fully blooming orchard.
New Routes is an inclusive two-acre site which accommodates a large polytunnel, raised beds, large fruit orchard, woodwork cabin, education cabin and a healing garden.
Using person-centred approaches, we encourage people to use the site either as a work-based activity to develop horticulture and other life skills or as a therapeutic place of enjoyment.
Andrea Parr, MacIntyre's Area Manager in Warrington said:
“What a wonderful day we have had at the MacIntyre Orchard Day. Thank you to everyone who helped out, our lovely stallholders and everyone who visited. We hoped you enjoyed the day as much as us!”
