For many, Christmas is about family, festivities and feeling thankful. But for some children, it can be a difficult time.
As part of Gem Radio’s ‘Mission Christmas’ appeal, Lydon, a MacIntyre No Limits East Midlands student, has selflessly completed a sponsored walk to raise money for local children this Christmas.
By completing a sponsored walk, Lydon managed to raise a fantastic total and used the money to independently choose gifts for children who might otherwise not receive a Christmas present this year.
Bruce Smith, a MacIntyre No Limits Programme Co-ordinator said:
“Our super student Lydon was counting the money before buying Christmas gifts to drop off! Well done, Lydon!”
