Hello, my name is Helen Cooke & my support staff know how much I enjoy being in water.
When I have been on holiday I always enjoy going to the pool.
My support staff Lorraine arranged for me to attend an accessible swim class at the Bewsy & Dallam community hub.
I am really enjoying attending this class.
To attend my staff supported me in purchasing a special new swimming suit that allows me to swim for as long as I like!
I am able to swim in the shallow end on my own, as long as I can feel the floor.
My staff also came into the pool with me which makes me feel safe.
