Fundraising for MacIntyre School
On Good Friday, 30 March 2018, six fantastic people will be going the extra mile in support of MacIntyre by cycling 1,000 miles.
Starting in Lands End and finishing in John O’Groats, the full cycling route is 1,000 miles broken into 9 daily stages, averaging at 112 miles per day. Not only this, but the route will see the group climb 15,000 meters – almost twice the height of Everest!
The route will take the team from the rocky cliffs and pounding seas of the rugged Cornish coastline, up through the colossal Cheddar Gorge, to the rolling hills and valleys of the Lake District and finishing in the Scottish Highlands along the Lochs of Great Glen to the finish line at the most northern point of UK mainland.
One of the group members, Callum Sillitoe, a Positive Behaviour Support Specialist for MacIntyre School, said:
“All of the funds raised from this challenge will go to MacIntyre School. Land’s End to John O’Groats will be an extremely tough challenge and we are asking for your support to help and motivate us to achieve this! Thank you for supporting us and wishing us luck!”
