MacIntyre's Dementia Special Interest Group
In the latest episode of the MacIntyre Families Podcast, Nicola Payne talks with two guests with expertise in Dementia
- Beth Britton, a consultant, content creator, trainer and campaigner who has worked closely with MacIntyre for many years
- Meg Wilding, MacIntyre's Best Practice Health & Wellbeing Facilitator, who has been a key part of our Dementia and Death and Dying projects.
Together, they talk about MacIntyre's Dementia Special Interest Group, which is open to anyone who would benefit from sharing experiences arising from the changing needs of people with dementia, as well as from listening to people with lived experience and other specialists in the field.
Next meeting
Our next Dementia Special Interest Group is on 27 March 2024, and you can sign up on MacIntyre's Events page.
We will be talking specifically about working with families and circles of support when people receive a diagnosis of dementia.
