We're happy to share our 'Employees of the Month' for November. Thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate.
Below are the names of the winners in the categories of MacIntyre Adult Services, Children and Young People, No Limits, and Support Services, together with an extract from their nominations.
Jonny Leigh - Adult Services, Greater Manchester
Jonny has not been with MacIntyre long, but he cannot do enough for the young man we support. Jonny is honest, caring, loving and will always go that extra mile both for staff and the young man. Since day one, Jonny has always been reliably on hand and looks into a situation to make sure everything is fair and properly covered. He is a remarkable man and a good friend who is excelling at is job.
Emmanuel Fordjour: Children and Young People, Wingrave
Emmanuel is a massive part of Oak House team, and we can all say we really appreciate him. Emmanuel is always there to help, whether that be supporting the young people or helping fulfil the house responsibilities. He always has a positive attitude and helps to keep everyone calm in every situation. I am always so grateful to have him on shift with me; I couldn't do my job without him!
Ann-Marie Murray: No Limits, Milton Keynes
Anne Marie is a kind and committed Community Teaching Facilitator who is always thoughtful and goes above and beyond. She takes pride in her job and is a great role model for new staff. Anne-Marie always puts everything she can into supporting learners, adjusting to support each individual.
Anne-Marie has been off sick recently, but even so she managed to support the MK Can event, helping the local community beat the world record for the number of food cans collected for our local food bank. She put out a request to her family and friends which meant she was responsible for contributing over 250 cans.
Martin Ibbotson: Support Services
Martin has always been a brilliant IT technician! But this last month he has been incredibly supportive. He has been inundated with requests from our team as we have new staff starting, new equipment required and lots of information needed, from connecting to the printer to setting up emails. Martin even responded to us on his day off, his birthday, where he checked in to make sure that everything was OK. I know how busy the team are with the IT infrastructure but really appreciate the time Martin took to make sure that we were all sorted and did so with such kindness and patience - really living our MacIntyre values.
