We're happy to share our 'Employees of the Month' for February. Thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate.
Below are the names of the winners in the categories of Adult Services, Children and Young People and Support Services and an extract from their nominations.
Samantha Gibbs, MacIntyre No Limits
Sam will have been with the company for a year in April. She is such an enthusiastic member of staff, enrolling herself on external courses to help her to gain more knowledge about Autism. I think that sort of passion should be celebrated.
Molly Clarke, Adult Services
I would like to nominate Molly because I like her because I like the way she speaks to me and she makes me laugh. Molly helps me with loads of things like money. She gives the best cuddles and is decent and I love her to bits. All words spoken by Rachel while Sarah Lancaster typed.
Hannah Walton, Support Services
Hannah has been part of the Milton Keynes Administration for just over a year, as part of her role she leads on all our recruitment activity for the area, supporting the managers and homes in all that is required with new candidates. Hannah works tirelessly day in and out, ensuring not only do all prospective candidates that apply are welcomed with a warm friendly informative telephone call, she then works extremely hard in making sure the process is as seamless as it can be, helping candidates with their paperwork that is required to ensure their checks go through. She consistently demonstrates MacIntyre's values and communicates in what MacIntyre is all about, and also taking the time to go out to homes to meet the people that draw on our support and staff teams across MK, this has enabled a far greater understanding of what potential new employees would work best in each home. Hannah is relentless in her approach ensuring all candidates and teams are kept as up to date as they can be, informing them step by step, then this is then followed up with the teams across the area. Hannah is the go to person with recruitment and will often support others with new initiatives and projects. We all know how difficult recruitment can be, but Hannah really does go the extra mile day in and out for everyone that she has contact with, and is very much deserving of this award we across MK would like to say a very BIG THANKYOU.
Ellie Dutnall, Children and Young People Services
Being a team leader is a very tough and challenging role. I find some days very stressful and I seek support and to be debriefed. On many occasions, I have been very lucky to be supported by team leader Ellie. There are no words to describe her fully. Ellie is understanding and always finds time for people. She is supportive and her work with young people is amazing. Her ability to find solutions and provide the best support is outstanding. Ellie’s calm and loving nature is contagious which is how I know that many others and I feel lucky to work with her.
