Thank you to everyone
The judges had a hugely difficult job deciding between the nominees, all of whom were brilliant. We had a greater overall number of nominations this year than ever before.
Thanks also to all our staff, people who draw on our support, and their families, for putting so much thought and effort into your nominations.
Guest speakers
We were delighted to hear from Neil Macmillan, MacIntyre's new Chair of Trustees, who opened the afternoon with a few remarks.
We then heard from a very special guest, Karen Gunn, one of the daughters of Ken and Marjorie Newton Wright, our founders. It was emotional and inspiring for all of us to hear first hand from Karen how the Newton Wrights were simply two people who wouldn't take no for an answer, who had a vision that blossomed into the organisation MacIntyre is today. Thank you Karen, it meant a lot.
Celebration video
As part of the ceremony, we screened a short film celebrating the amazing achievements of our staff. You can watch it below. Enjoy!
