On 28 September, people supported by MacIntyre, their friends, family and staff came together to celebrate the opening of the brand new summerhouse at one of our services in Leicester.
Built by MacIntyre’s Corporate Partners, Willmott Dixon, the summerhouse was developed as part of the Willmott Dixon Trainee Challenge. The summerhouse, which has been named ‘Rose Cottage’ will provide space for people to enjoy relaxation sessions, music and art therapy.
Zoey Cussons, Front Line Manager at Waring Close said:
“We are pleased to celebrate the opening of ‘Rose Cottage’. Thank you to Willmott Dixon, the Coley Family and all of the Waring Close staff.”
Also reflecting on the project, Simone Codrington Assistant Sustainability Manager at Willmott Dixon said:
“So very proud to see the difference we've made with our Trainee Challenge. It has been lovely to watch people see it for the first time. So grateful to everybody who contributed."
