Although England sadly didn’t win the World Cup, we can’t be too upset here at MacIntyre, as we have received an amazing £340 from Matt Worthington of Storm Videos through hosting his very own sweepstake!
Entrants were asked to make a donation of £10 per team, with some giving even more. All money raised from the sweepstake will go towards MacIntyre’s Stony Stratford Coffee Shop, to make it more accessible for the people supported by MacIntyre.
So what did the winners receive?
These fantastic prizes… (we think that they won’t be too upset that England didn’t win either!)
1st prize - GoPro Hero: France – Simon Eli of Not Just Travel
2nd prize - Amazon Fire TV stick: Croatia – Jonny Fulton of Foxwylie Events
3rd prize - VR goggles: Belgium – Redway Books
Most goals scored - Netflix voucher: Harry Kane – England – Energie Fitness Milton Keynes

“I wanted to do something fun this year for the world cup and local businesses but to also help a local charity along the way. I chose MacIntyre as the charity as I have been impressed by the hard work they do for the community and their involvement in events to gain sponsorship and donations. I think MacIntyre are doing a great job!”
Congratulations to you all and a huge thank you to Matt and all involved in the sweepstake for choosing to support MacIntyre. It’s thanks to people like you that we are able to make a big difference to the lives of people with a learning disability in the local community.
