Last Saturday, people in Warrington raised a fantastic £237 in support of Elaine Fraser, a MacIntyre London Marathon runner. The fundraiser, which was held at the Farmer’s Arms in Fearnhead, was an opportunity to sing, dance and take part in a raffle.
Andrea Parr, MacIntyre’s Area Manager in Warrington said:
“We held a little fundraiser last night to support Elaine Fraser (our local Marathon runner) and MacIntyre. We raised £237, made up of £70 from additional sponsors and £167 from a raffle. It was a great night!”
The funds raised will support Elaine to reach her target of £1,750 before Sunday 28 April, when Elaine will be taking part in the London Marathon in support of MacIntyre.
