On August 4, students at MacIntyre School kicked off their summer holidays by attending A Different World Festival.
A Different World Festival, hosted in Reading, is a event for adults and young people with additional needs. The students enjoyed live music from artists including Adam and the Gaslights, Hercules Morse and Burnt Tomorrow.
Alongside live music, the students also enjoyed a sensory tent and circus activities, but the most popular event by far was the reptile tent.
Jessica Norris, Extended Curriculum Co-ordinator at MacIntyre School said:
“The reptile tent was a hit with everyone, especially Finley. He was very intrigued and relaxed whilst having a snake around his neck!”
The festival was organised by Simon and Louise Turner, who were inspired by their son, Sam.
