MacIntyre is taking part in the Big Give’s Christmas Challenge again this year, raising funds for MacIntyre School near Aylesbury.
The Christmas Challenge is a match-funding campaign. We are delighted to have had £4,000 pledged by some amazing supporters, so we’re now aiming to match that in just one week!
All funds raised this year will be used for students at MacIntyre School in Buckinghamshire to undertake the Duke of Edinburgh Award. The Duke of Edinburgh Award puts the young people we support on a level footing with other children and focusses on the individuals being the best that they can be. The Award will support our students to develop soft skills such as team working, communication and creativity which will improve not only individual development, but also health and wellbeing.
Following last year’s DofE residential, the parent of a participant said:
“I think this is the most wonderful thing ever, and I am happy crying when I see this and that there are such amazing people in this work that enjoy supporting and working with our children. THANK YOU”
