The gift of Kindness
Every year, MacIntyre celebrates the Marjorie Newton Wright Awards, named after one of our founders. These staff awards go to individuals and teams who exemplify the values set out in MacIntyre's DNA.
In 2023, the award for Specialist Support was won by Wendy Cook, Head of Administration in Warrington. Wendy was nominated by several people, and all her nominations bore testimony to how supportive and kind she is. Here's an excerpt:
Wendy received a great many nominations and it's difficult to know where to start. Words people have used to describe Wendy: professional, competent, fabulous, goes above and beyond, gives her own time, kind, sincere, selfless, nothing is too much trouble. And she's a great cake-maker!
