The gift of Ambition
Every year, MacIntyre celebrates the Marjorie Newton Wright Awards, named after one of our founders. These staff awards go to individuals and teams who exemplify the values set out in MacIntyre's DNA.
In 2023, the award for Innovation was won by Scott Twycross from Leicester. This summarises the reason he won this category:
Scott developed a Winter Olympic challenge covering three sports, with three challenges for each sport. It included a trip to a local snowdome to visit an indoor mountain. This was a completely new experience for people we support in Leicester and was a huge success.
