Who can be nominated

You can nominate any MacIntyre staff member from any team or department. Your nomination should be in one of the following categories:

Inspirational Manager/Leader

Operational and Specialist leaders - Frontline Manager equivalent and above

Outstanding Individual Frontline Employee

Support Workers and Seniors, Deputy Managers, Learning Support Assistants, Community Teaching Facilitators etc

Specialist Support Employee

Anyone below manager level who does not give direct support to people who draw on our support.

Outstanding Team

Operational or Support and Specialist Teams

Newcomer to MacIntyre or Role

Someone who has joined MacIntyre or a current staff member who has taken on a new role at MacIntyre. Within the last year – since 1 April 2024

Learning Advocate

Keeping on learning is part of MacIntyre‘s DNA. This award is for a person or group who have really embraced the value of learning.

Everyone Everywhere

For a person or group who have made a neighbourhood connection based on gifts, skills and passions, changing how people with learning disabilities are seen and valued.

Working Together Award

For a person or group who have involved everyone and worked together (co-produced) on a project or all of the time. People drawing on support will have had power and control throughout.

Closing day for nominations

• Please submit the nominations no later than 10 February 2025
• Nominees will be announced in March 2025
• The Award Ceremony will take place on 12 June 2025

Awarding means rewarding

In recognition of their contribution, winners of each category will be personally recognised and financially rewarded at our Special Award Celebration on 12 June 2025.
