Post-16 Education
Working direct with Local Authorities or with Further Education colleges, we offer an inclusive and flexible model of education for young people.
Part of MacIntyre’s purpose is to make a positive contribution to the lives of children in need of support.
In 2012 MacIntyre seized the opportunity to expand its contribution to the lives of young people, and further influence the education sector by establishing a Multi-Academy Trust. As Free Schools and Academies are state funded, MacIntyre does not profit from them, and has set up a separate Trust to govern the schools.
MacIntyre Academies is a Multi-Academy Trust for special schools and specialist alternative provision. MacIntyre Academies upholds the values of the charity, and believes that all children and young people, regardless of special educational need, deserve the best education possible. The Trust is ambitious to provide the best chances to the children and their families they support.
