It is a lovely big house. Our son has a view over the garden, like at home. He loves the swing. He will give a thumbs up and a nod because he is happy to go back.
Hillside, Bedfordshire
Our registered children’s home in Bedfordshire is home to five young people aged 10-19, who attend our nearby MacIntyre School in Wingrave
Hillside benefits children and young people who require support in a smaller group setting and have their education and therapeutic support fully met by MacIntyre School where they attend as day pupils.
Our staff work closely with families, involving them every step of the way, sharing achievements and ensuring that a consistent, open relationship is maintained.
The detached house on a quiet road also has a spacious garden with a sunken trampoline, swing and a beautiful summer house that doubles up as a base for arts and crafts.
The young people love nothing more than getting out and about and having fun, from bowling to swimming, rugby to trampoline parks or shopping, the list goes on!
Rated Good by Ofsted, the most recent inspection found:

Could you join our team?
Do you think you could support someone and have a positive impact on their lives?
The home offers young people opportunities to learn and develop, teaching new skills and enhancing existing ones, day to day cooking and life skills, to trying something new for the first time. You’d be working as part of a friendly team, often under your own initiative.
As the young people love getting out and about, it’s beneficial if you are able to drive. Check our careers page for the latest opportunities.
