Meet the Manager
Hi my name is Bev, and welcome to Glenview. I have been working for MacIntyre for over 20 years and as a team, we take pride in supporting people to live a life that makes sense to them.
Every day is different at Glenview, and we’re always open to what people want to do - whether that’s swimming, going on some amazing walks round the beautiful countryside here, going to ‘Yam Jam’ sessions or even keeping chickens!
Glenview really feels like a we have become an extended part of each other’s family, we spend time getting to know each person and have formed some really close relationships. We’ve been so lucky to go on some amazing adventures together, including going on holiday - from Wales, Cornwall, even to France and Portugal!” - Beverley Robinson

Our Approach

Families
MacIntyre was established by the parents of a disabled child in 1966 for all people with a learning disability to live a life that makes sense to them.

Person Centred Approaches
Providing person centred support means always listening, learning and focusing on what is important to and for someone, now and in the future.

Positive Behaviour Support
A Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approach involves focusing on improving a person’s quality of life and understanding the reasons behind any behaviours.
