Meet the Manager
'Welcome to No 6 The Grove, Westoning. I am passionate about, and pride myself in, knowing we are providing the best quality individual care. I regularly review comments and compliments to ensure the quality of the support provided remains at a high standard.
With 35 years experience, we are a well-established, caring staff team, and 6 the Grove is lively, happy, and fun; and where visitors are always welcome.
We have just finished a renovation project meaning the house has been extended to create a large open plan type kitchen, dining and living room area. This has given the house a bright airy feel. The project has included the back garden and outdoor seating area. We also have a small building known as “Studio 6” which is used for arts and crafts.
People who draw on our support have dedicated link workers who ensure the needs, wants and wishes of each individual person is being met. They also check that skills are being built upon or retained. Each person enjoys going out and about to places of interest such as the Ampthill learning centre, the local church on a Sunday, visiting garden centres, disco at the local pub, going shopping. Driving to Dunstable Downs to watch the gliders and to Woburn to see the deer are popular choices.' - Frances Barnes
