The opportunities offered in Oxford include:
- Arts and crafts, covering a variety of media and adapted for a range of ability levels
- Cookery and food tasting, including preparing group lunches as independently as possible, consulting recipes in our bakery sessions and learning about the history and geography of certain foods
- ICT, including developing PowerPoint presentations, using digital photography resources and other computer related activities
- Healthy Living sessions, which are supported by the Local Authority’s Community Team, cover topics including fire safety, food hygiene, keeping safe and infection control
- Fitness activities, including supervised gym sessions as well as dance and movement classes
- History sessions, covering both local and national history and including both projects and trips to museums and historical places of interest
- Music sessions, where our learners can use an extensive selection of musical instruments and can play as creatively as they wish
