Robert's Camera

Robert is 11 years old and he's a keen photographer. He loves to experiment with perspective, is very sensitive to colours and uses very interesting compositions.

Because of his autism, Robert didn't learn to communicate through speech, however he is able to speak. Emma, his support worker, uses a combination of methods to communicate with Robert.

By using symbols, photographs, signing she encourages him to learn and use words. Sometimes she just follows Robert's lead and they shush to each other.
